Allie's birthday and birth story!!

Allies first X-mas

Allies had a great 7thbirthday and got lots of fun gifts Thanks you to all her friends and family for making this day special for Allie. She had a family party on the day of her birthday and then she had a friend party the Saturday after. For the family party i had my aunt Suzee make the cake for her, it turned out so cute, then we had ice cream and allies favorite root beer floats. The friend party turned out so fun we had them come dressed in there dress up, then my cousin Mckielle did hair, Kelci did nails, made bracelets, had a tea party with cupcakes and lemonade,and open presents it was so fun and Allie loved it. One thing that i wanted to do was tell her birth story, its long so if you want to continue you can.

Allie's miracle birth story:

Is all started on Nov. 29th i was working in the ER and having some unusual back pains, something told me to find out what was going on, so one of the nurses told me to go to L&D and be put on a monitor well sure enough i was have contractions and i was only 29 weeks, i was sent home on bed rest with pills to stop my labor well it worked for 5 days and then they started up again, I had a Dr app scheduled for the 17th so i just kept in contact with my Dr over the phone until my app. well that app led to bad news, i was dilated to a 2 and completely effaced, he sent me to the hospital were i was put on magnesium Sulfate which is suppose to stop your labor and had numerous test done well to about 10:30 pm i was to a 6 and my water was bulging before long i recieved a epidural and had an ultra sound finding outshe was breech, so on December 18th at 7:05am Allie came into the world a little early by c-section she only weighed 2lbs 15oz and was 15 in long she was taken quickly and off to the NICU were she was hooked up to monitors, vent, and all kind of tubes. She spent 6 weeks there learning how to keep up her temp, breathing on her own and eating, she spent her first christmas at the hospital. She was a fighter and has been ever since. Allie is a miracle baby and i thank my heavenly father for her every day and even more every birthday she has.

I am a new aunt today and i am so excited. Baby boy Tuttle came into the world today at 1:32 pm and weighted in a 7lbs 7oz and was 18.5 in long, black hard, eyelashes, and eyebrows and beautiful skin (i say pretty and Paul says handsome). He is so very Handsome and i am a very proud Aunt. I have some way cute pictures, but my camera is dead so i am going to buy new batteries and then i will post pics. Congratulations Ryan and Mandie I love you both, you did such a good job and you will be the best parents. As of right know he is baby boy Tuttle, so hopefully when i post pics tomorrow i will have a name to go with them.

Shop With A Cop!!

About 4 or so years ago, my cousin Gatlin did his eagle project that involved the whole family, he chose to do the breakfast for shop with a cop, and that has started a great family tradition. Every year since my family has funded and cooked the breakfast and then we set up and serve the kids and cops breakfast before there big shopping trip. This is the most indescribable experience that i will ever fill, you have so many mixed emotions, happy, sad, and a very humbling. Through the years doing this i have grown so much. I am so thankful for the opportunity that i have had to help with it, and for this great and wonderful organization that has been put together for those in need. I have some neat pictures that i will post later that will show you a little bit about how neat this is. Thanks everyone for letting me be a part of this and for my family for taking the time to put this together. I love you guys!!!

Thanksgiving and of course the biggest shopping day of the YEAR!!!

We had a wonderful thanksgiving, we went to my grandparents and stayed there all day, it was so nice to be with the family. We ate a wonderful meal, looked through ads, took naps, watched movies, and enjoyed one others company. I am so thankful for my close family, and the love that i have for each one of them, i am thankful for my parents and all they do for us and there love, I am also thankful for my siblings, my kids and my husband for all that he does for my family. I am thankful for so many things and could go on forever but these are just a few to name.
Then of course we went shopping on Friday at 3:00 am and got some good deal, i am so crazy for this day, not as crazy as some, like i wouldn't run over a Walmart employee, but i do love it. We started at Walmart, made it target in time for them to open then off to the mall to some stores,back home to pick up those who slept in, then to Kmart, Sears, and Einsteins for breakfast, and home by noon, and i am almost done Christmas shopping. Know i am exhausted and recuperating, cause i am not that young anymore and it really kills me, but it is worth it. Hope everyone had a Great Thanksgiving.

Tis the Season....... To be Sick

I feel like the minute it turns cold out side my kids get SICK. So guess what??? They are all home today SICK, and ornery. They coughed all night then all morning then there fine in the day until night again, why is it that its worse at night??? Austin coughed and coughed until he threw up then he finally slept a little, then Allie was up with a head ache, then coughed and coughed,and Payzlie slept until 5:00am, but is so ornery today and has a runny nose. So today we are resting and drinking lot of OJ, and hoping that it will not last long, then i hope that we will stay well all winter.

Halloween 2008

Halloween was so busy, but fun we started the day by helping my mom get ready for my little sisters baby shower,went to help at Allie's school,went home and got the other kids ready,went to the city trick or treat at the park,went to grandma's house,went to Andie's truck or treat,Andie's for soup, and then to a friends to relax the kids played in the hot tub and we just visited and played with the spider we had fun laughing and screaming when it even moved. We had a fun day and the kids were worn out by the end.

I had the opportunity last night to receive my Patriarchal blessing wow what a great experience, i cant believe that i have not done this before know. I am just still just amazed at how in tune with the spirit these wonderful men serving the lord are. I met him one time and i feel like he knew everything about me, because of him being close to his heavenly father. I want one every day, it helped me so much and will continue to help me through out my life. I felt so lucky to have a family that is so close to the church and i also felt so very grateful for all that has happened in my life, trials and all, they have helped me become a stronger person, and will help me in the future when raising my little family. I am thankful to my Heavenly Father for all that he has done for me for his sacrifice for me. I am thankful for my family and the closeness that we share, for their example and their love for the lord also, i am thankful for the 3 little miracles that i have in my life for the love and joy that they bring into my home and for there love for life, i am thankful for Paul and all that he does for me and my kids, for the hard worker that he is and the example he is to me and my kids and those around him. I am thankful for the prophet and his faith and guidance that he shares with each one of us. I am so very thankful for the church and for the opportunity that i have to be a member and to be able to attend the temple and be an eternal family, i cant Imagine life without my family, i hope that this will help me grow stronger and be a better person to all that i come in contact i hope that i can also be an example to my kids and to those around me. I am thankful for the patriarch and his wife for serving the lord so diligently. Thanks to every one that has had any type of influence in my live i love you all.

Preschool Halloween Party!!!

Austin got to dress up for Halloween today for a party at preschool he was so cute and had a fun day with Mrs. Barney.

THRILLER!!!

Every year we attend Thriller at Kingsbury hall with my family. We go early afternoon, eat dinner, and then walk over to see Thriller. It is so fun to be able to spend that time with my family. I have seen this for many years here and in St George and still love to see it every year, if you have never gone, i highly suggest it.

Biggest Loser

I have join a contest for the biggest loser and i am so proud of myself. NO CAFFEINE for one week and i am still alive and have lost 4.5 lbs. I will keep you updated on my progress and let you know when i win LOL.

I am going to be and Aunt X 2

I am so excited to be an Aunt. My sister is pregnant and due to have her baby in December and then we found out Friday that my brothers wife (Callee) is pregnant, and i think that they are due in May. I am the only one on my side of the family that has kids, so i am going to be a first time Aunt X 2 and cant wait. Congrats to both of them and i hope all goes well. Love you!!!

UEA!!!

Austin loves clean so he does the most at our house!!!



We didn't do to much UEA weekend but we did have fun spending time with each other. Thursday night we stayed at my Grandparent house and just relaxed, that is Paul's new favorite getaway. Then we came home Friday and relaxed at home, the kids were able to play with the neighbors and then watch movies at night. Saturday we got up and of course we cleaned, that is a Saturday thing at our house,then went to walmart to get some things, i bought these things to decorate the pumpkins with, cause my kids hate to carve them and touch the stuff inside them. They turned out so cute. Then Sunday we did our ritual,went to church,dinner and visited the family, which is so nice and i enjoy it so much.

All i want for Christmas!!

All i want for Christmas is my two front teeth. Allie had no teeth just in time for Halloween and Christmas. She looks like a cute little pumpkin.

91st Birthday

We had a Birthday party on Sat. for my Grandpa Swanner, he turned 91 years old. He is a neat grandpa, i have a lot of fun little memories that i share with him, that i will always remember. Like collecting rocks, doing yard work,picking raspberries and eating them with cream and sugar, and one thing that i will always remember about him is his jam that he makes,and still does to this day. Grandpa swanner has alot of good traits about him that he has passed on to his grand kids, like making Jam, and keeping a neat yard and house. I always tell my kids that they have to drink milk so they can be like Grandpa Swanner, he is 91 years old and has NEVER had a broken bone in his body, he has been in a horse accident and cars accidents and still no broken bone, but he has drank lots of milk since he was a little little boy. We love you Grandpa S. I have been working on his gift for a while, and i got it done to give to him for his birthday. I have typed up his mothers history that she wrote in a note book that is fading and he couldn't see to read it, so i typed it and made the lettering bigger, he loved it.

Angels amoung us!!!

I got that call this morning that every one fears, that someone you love is hurt. At 10:30am my phone rang, it was my brother looking for my mom and he sounded upset i asked him what was wrong and he proceeded to tell me that Kelci ( his wife) was in a bad accident on the freeway, but he did say that he had talked to her and she said she was OK. I headed to the hospital when i got another call that said she really is OK and they were taking her just to get check out, that's when it hit me, i repeated what was said to me, she rolled her car and she is not hurt then i started to cry with cold chills running down my spine, my Aunt on the other end said yes and we can replace the car, but not Kelci. Someone (an angel) was with her and watching over her. Her car was totaled and smashed everywhere but were she was sitting. She had a bruised thumb and a scratch or two from the glass. I am so thankful for Kelci and the joy that she has brought into our family, she is such a sweet spirit to have around and i am thankful for the things that she taught(not intentionally) today. This is a good lesson to all of us, WEAR YOUR SEAT BELT, and that is one of the reasons that Kelci is with us today,and all those angels that were with her today. Thanks you!!! We love you Kelci

6 Months old

Payzlie is growing so fast she is now 6 months old and is so much fun to have around. She is rolling over and starting to sit up. She does so many fun facial expressions and has a cute big smile.

One funny thing that she does is a cute little dance. Some little hip movement that she picke up it is so funny, i will post video later it is so cute.

Conference Weekend

What a nice weekend this turned out to be. Friday afternoon we went to my grandmas house and spent the night, it was so nice and relaxing, we woke up Saturday and watched both sessions of conference. They were both very inspirational sessions, every time i watch conference it seems like it is all directed to me, its amazing that our Heavenly Father know just what we need as individuals, i myself needed to hear and watch this conference. Then Sunday Morning Suzee did a wonderful breakfast for everyone. We came home after and took a much needed nap for all of us, then went to my moms for Sunday dinner. I am so thankful for my family and the close relationship that we all share, and for those who make it happen, those who bring us together, and those who make it complete. I love you all so very much.

Moms don't get sick days!!!

I love the title of being a Mom, don't get me wrong on this post, but i need to vent a little. The last two days i have been a little sick, not dying just cold symptoms, ache, tired, headache and coughing like crazy. Well i have just figured out after 6 years that moms can't be sick, life continues to go on, kids still need drinks, snacks, bottles, dinner, clean up homework, baths, PJ's teeth brushed and finally bed time. I just haven't felt sick in a while and have forgotten this, so this week has made me realize it again. I think that all moms should get a sick day or two, what do you think?? I really shouldn't complain, cause i have it pretty good, but i just have experienced this the last two days and it is so true... I love my kids and being a mom, and thank my husband and mom for helping me out. I really appreciate them.

This Friday me and a bunch a friend had a girls night out. We went to Tepanyaki for dinner, the movies and saw The women, then after that we went to Baskin Robins for ice cream. When we were getting ice cream we were standing outside and a Excursion limo pulled up and some people got out and went in to see ice cream, and Pam said, "i wonder who is in there," well later on we found out that it was Matthew Perry, we didn't see him, but just the thought that he was in there was pretty cool. What would he be doing in Provo Utah Crazy huh.

Crazy Hair Day!!!

Today is CRAZY HAIR DAY at Allie's school. This and PJ day is something that she looks forward to every year and it is here CRAZY HAIR DAY!!! We tried to think of something way fun and this is what we come up with she left the house so excited and loved it. It was way fun we laughed all morning at it. Payzlie kept looking at her funny then we would laugh it was a great morning.

Tutu and flower clip

A couple of the things that they are doing at our Relief Society Super Thursday (many of you know as Super Saturday) are a tutu and flower clips they are so cute and way easy to make and are so fun for little girls pictures. Payzlie was our model so we dressed her up and took pictures to display and they were so cute so i though i would share

You all have heard about Allie starting 1st grade and Austin starting Preschool , so i think its time to hear about Payzlie. She started a new habit, that call me crazy but i love. She has started to suck her thumb holding something like a blanket or a burp cloth in her hand. I think that it is so cute. She is my second baby that has sucked there thumb and if i don't say so myself they are good babies because of that little thumb. She is the only one of my kids that has loved a blanket though and that is also so fun and cute she just loves to be snuggled in a blanket or just have one in her hand with her thumb. WAY CUTE!!!

Weekend with no kids!!!!

Paul and I had the Opportunity this weekend to go on a ATV, river rafting trip in Marysvale at a place called Winkle mans cabins with no kids it was so fun and enjoyable although we did miss them its just not the same going to bed with no kids. We went on a beautiful 4-wheeler ride that was 40 miles and seen such pretty scenery a little of wild life and just had a great ride. Then when we got back from our ride and a group of us decided that we would float down the river while the boys watched the game (camping is just not the same now we have TVs), it was just a refreshing and relaxing. This was so nice we didn't have to cook or do dishes we just plain relaxed the meals were provided and all we had to do was show up to eat so nice, but it is nice to be home.
