Payzlie's hospital stay

On Tuesday i took Payzlie to the doctors cause she had blood in her spit up, well he said that he thought it was nothing to worry about so we just cut out giving her any formula. Well i got her up on Thursday from her nap and she had spit up a lot and there was more blood, but it was black and not red, as the day went on it got more and more and was in her stool when i changed her so we decided to take her to the after hrs clinic and the Dr. told me that she had a lot of blood in her stool and we needed to see what was going on and that she need to be admitted to the hospital to see if she is actively bleeding or to see if it was and food allergy to something that i was eating. They had me quit nursing and give her a really broken down formula, when they checked for bleeding there was nothing, but in two days with the formula it all cleared up. Today we got the allergy test back and it showed negative on all they tested, so they referred me to PCMC to an allergist i called today to get and appointment and they cant see us until Sept. 11. Well by then we could have grown out of this that is a long time to wait and to pump and not breast feed so we will go with the formula, she is doing good on it and it seems not to give her any problems. Now all is good and things are getting back to normal again. Thanks to everyone who kept us in your prayers they helped alot love you all.

New hair cuts

After i had Payzlie i started hating my hair it was so dry and just bugging me so i decided that i was going to have it cut, i usually get to the salon and decide that i just want it trimmed and chicken out. Well not this time i did it, i cut off 8 inched and i love it, it is so healthy and feels so nice it will be great for the summer, and it is so easy to do. When i got home Allie decided that she wanted hers cut just like mine so we went and had hers cut. We feel like new girls.

Spring Break

I cant believe it is spring and it is snowing in Utah. Yesterday got us in the mood for summer it was 80 degrees and was almost to hot, but no complaints here. It was beautiful, I cleaned my car and just enjoyed it, it was nice to drive with your windows down, and feel the warm weather. Well today is the opposite, it is SNOWING and not so beautiful any more and i wouldn't suggest driving with your windows down today. This makes me mad, but this is a picture from my back door. It really is beautiful, but disappointing.

We have officially grown out of our car. We have been looking online for something a little bigger to drive and everything is so expensive or is not so good on gas, so we resorted to a van, i never thought that i would drive a van, but everyone that i have talked that has one has loved it, so we are in the process of selling my car and finding a van. We love the Chevy Uplanders and we have found 2 that we love, but no luck so far on the car.

Lots of work

WOW!!! I have forgotten how much work babies are, i went to long without one, how quickly you forget. Payzlie is so fun, but lots of work she has her nights and days mixed up so we don't get much sleep around here. Allie and Austin are dealing with this new change quite well, Allie has been a little emotional, and Austin has been naughty, but they are not getting the attention that they usually get when people come to visit and they are noticing. They are also noticing that Mom has to spend a lot of time with Payzlie and so they do naughty things to get my attention. This week has started out good, they have been pretty good thank goodness cause Paul has been going to work. Things at are house have changed a little, but we love are new addition to our family and wouldn't trade her for the world

Photo shots of Payzlie

Jaundice

The last 3 days we have had to take Payzlie for blood tests at the hospital cause she was jaundice, When we left the hospital it was at a 10, then when we took her the next day, they called us and told us that it was up to 18 and that we needed to keep her under ultra violet lights to break it down, and that they would bring us the bed to keep her in. It has help lots and it has continued to go down, but it has been a little hard not holding her all the time for us and the kids. We hope that we had our last test today and that we will be able to get rid of the bed. Yeah!! We also have had to do weight checks and today she was down a little so they are having me supplement her a little, and hopefully that helps and she will continue to grow. She still seems so tiny to me, but is still bigger then Allie and Austin were, i think that you forget how small they really are when they are babies, cause they grow to fast.

Home at last

Well things at our house have definitely changed the last view days with a new baby around. Its so fun, but and lots of work and less sleep. Allie and Austin are doing good, but are well aware that they are not getting the attention that they usually do, so have kind of acted out a little. Paul and I are also hanging in there, but very tired. Paul is so good to get up with me and burp her or just keep me company i wouldn't know what to do with out him. Payzlie is doing good and keeping us very busy, i have forgotten how much work that babies are.

She is here!!!

We went to the
perinatologist on thurs for an nst and for measurements of the baby, well she still had not grown alot so they decided that it would be best to start me and get her here. We were exited, but lots of things go through your mind so we were also nervous. At 2:30pm they started the pit, things started out slow and then about 6:30pm things picked up and she was born at 7:10pm. WOW!!! what an experience, i had no idea what i had missed out on as soon as she was born they laid her on my chest and let me hold her i will always cherish that memory, this little spirit that was just handed to me to care for and love. She weighed 5lbs 1oz and was 17 in long after i held her for a while they took her to the nursery and bathed her then i got to keep her in my room for the night (another new experience for me, how fun.) We decided on Friday afternoon to name her Payzlie and it fits her. Then on Saturday we were able to bring her home. Yeah!!!
