Wrestling

Austin started wrestling this fall and has loved it. I thought that he would cry every time that he was beat, but instead the whole time he is being beat he has the biggest smile on his face, then when he gets up still with a smile he looks over at us and gives us thumbs up. He loves it no matter the outcome. Paul and i get a little frustrated with him cause he doesn't care at all. Love him.

Halloween 09

We had a great halloween and got LOTS of candy. We started out the week with school parties, trunk or treats, city trick or treating, soup with the family, and hanging out with friends, by the time saturday got here we were tired and ready for halloween to be over.

First snow (fall of 09)

My kids were so excited when they woke up to this on the back lawn. Allie woke up and said "that means that it is almost my birthday."

Well it snowed for a couple of days, and this week it had been in the 60's, just enough snow to get us all excited for winter.

My mom called me a said that my Dad was closing the pool if we wanted to come swim for the last time, so we jumped at that opportunity and went swimming the kids had a great time and it was a warm day, and the last warm day that we had.

(As i am posting this post it is snowing for the first time. CRAZY )

Update on the Taylors

Wow i have really slacked on the blogging, but i am going to try to keep up on it so i can print some books and have a journal.
Allie has been busy going to school and of course being social. She does so good in school and loves it tons, she wants to be involved in anything she can, and is the best at spelling tests. I cant believe how fast she has grown she will soon be 8 and is so excited to get baptized. She is also busy trying to decide what to do for this birthday and the next and the next so any ideas let us know.
Austin has also been busy with school and also is loving it. He is to busy himself wanting to play and help everyone, then do homework, but he still is so smart. This is his first year to be in sports so he wants to be involved in what he can. He played fall soccer and is now signed up for wrestling.
Payzlie is doing good and so good and getting into everything. She is the silent, but mischievous type she doesn't talk much, but is always in to something, like the powder,q-tips,toothpaste or cleaning out every ones clothes drawers. She is fun and is growing way to fast.
Paul and I have been busy with the kids, and trying to make time for us. We were able to take a trip to lake Powell with no kids and enjoy one an others company with no interruptions. Paul is a great husband and does a lot for us. We make a great team and i don't know what to do when he is not around, cause he helps so much. Love him!!!
i am going to try to keep up with the blogging regularly so stay tuned for more to come and picture.

Austins first day of Kindergarten 09

Austin is in the afternoon kindergarten so it was a long morning at our house, asking every two minutes if it was time to eat lunch and go to school. Austins teacher is great and he is going to enjoy this year with her. When he got home the first day i asked him what he learned and with a prompted answer he told me he couldn't remember, then i said well what did you do, and in a very monotone voice he tells me he went to recess and did rules and that's all, so i have to pry for him to tell me, but he is smart and is still excited each day for school just not as excited to tell me about it.

Allies first day of school 09

Allie loves school and was so excited to go, i think that she was most excited about having the same teacher that i did when i was in forth grade. We did the traditional walking to school on the first day and of course she was walking ten feet ahead of us and ran to her class room leaving us in her dust. I laugh at the difference between her and Austin and there enthusiasm for school. The first day after school she runs in my house and tells me you have homework ha ha and tells me all about it.

County swim meet!!

Allie qualified for the SILVER swim meet this year. It has been so fun to see her progress in her swimming, she is such a good swimmer, and it make me proud. Her qualifying times were in the Backstroke, Breaststroke and the Freestyle. She was 1st overall in the backstroke , 4th over all in her freestyle and she was disqualified in the breaststroke for doing scissor kicks with her legs.

Grandma

My mom is such a proud Grandma, she loves her grand kids and is the best grandma a kid could ask for. She has three granddaughters and two almost three grandsons.

Statuim of Fire

We had a great time at stadium of fire even though Allie hated the fireworks and would cry every time they would go off and Austin sneezed every two minutes and then cried cause he was sad about them burning a flag (to retire it). I think that we will wait until they are a little older to go next time or just Paul and I will be going with no kids.

SWIM

It seems like everything that we have done this summer contains the word SWIM. My kids are little fishes and love to be in the water.
4 days a week we take Allie to SWIM team and almost every Saturday this summer she has had a SWIM meet. 3 days a week i teach SWIM lessons for 2 hours, and of course the kids are right in there with me. 1 or 2 times a week my kids think that we have to go to the SWIMming pool, usually just once, cause by this time i am all SWIMmed out. Last weekend we made a fun trip up to Deer Creek for a little boating and of course SWIMming in the water. We have had a fun summer full of lot of SWIMming time and my the end of this month i am all done with anything that contains the word SWIM

10th Anniversary

June 11th marked the day that i married my best friend, we have been married 10 years it feels like it has flown by, I cant believe it has been ten years. Paul and I met in November of 1998 and we have been together since. I love him so much, he is such a good husband and dad.

Have you seen my sucker?

Payzlie was enjoying her sucker on the way home and i looked back half way and she had it stuck in her hair, she gave me a look like were is it???? She is so cute, she had no clue we laughed so hard.

The Kids!!

I thought that since i was behind on blogging i would update you on what the kids have been doing.

ALLIE





Allie just started playing coach pitch with a city league she loves it and its good way for her to burn some of that endless energy that she has.

The last week of school was busy for Allie, she had a program, field trip and the last day of school they had field day. The first graders put on a program that so cute they had worked so hard and i turned out amazing. For the field trip they walked to the pond had lunch, and played on the toys, then off to the city office, ambulance building, police station, and fire station, then back to the school it was fun and they were such good kids.

AUSTIN

Austin had also been busy he had a mothers day picnic at the park, and preschool graduation. He is so ready for kindergarten.
















PAYZLIE

She is busy as ever, keeping me on my toes at all times. She has developed such a fun personality and throws the best fits if she doesn't get what she wants. Its funny how natural that is to them, and how good they are at it.

Mothers Day!!

I hope that you all had as good of a mothers day as i did. This is a little late, but i thought that would pay tribute to all the moms that surround me and especially my own mom. I want to start with my sister. She is such a neat mom, she has the best baby and i know that it is because she is so patient and loving with him. She is such a good example to me, even though she is younger i still look up to her and the mother that she is, she continues everyday to amaze me. She is a hard worker, a good mom, and a good wife. Mandie i love you and i am so proud of the mom that you are.

I have to of the most amazing aunts, that are both such great mothers. Andie is such a good example to me, she is such a loving mother and always has time for her kids no matter what. She has been like a second mother to me. She is who i call if i have a dumb question about my kids being sick, or wondering if i should take them to Dr's or the hospital, she is always so reassuring. She always comforts you in any situation good or bad, she is so caring to everyone, and always has such good advise. She would do anything for anybody even if she don't know you. She is the best grandma, she has always let Austin call her grandma Andie even when she wasn't a grandma. I love you and thank you for being there for me.
Suzee seems to also amaze me everyday, she is to a good example to me. She makes me realize everyday that i can do anything. She has six kids and still can take on the world. She has always been like a sister to me, having kids close to the same age, we can relate to each other. She also would do anything for anybody, she just drops what she is doing and does what you need her to. She is such an amazing mom, and loves my kids like they are her own. I love you and thanks for being a good example to me.

My grandma is the best, she had kept are family close and family has always been important to her. She is such a good mom to her kids and a awsome grandma. She had created so many memories for each of her kids and grandkids. She takes time for each of her grandkids individually. She does so many fun things with us grandkids and with her girls. She always has time for what ever you need her for. I love you and am so thankful for you.

MY MOM she is the best. She is always such a good example to me. She is such a good wife, mom, and grandma. She always had dinner on the table when i was little, our house was clean and she took such good care of us kids. She still cooks meals and has us over on Sundays, and when i was working she made my family dinner before she would send them home. She loves her grandkids and is so excited to keep having more of them. (just not from me) She is my best friend, i don't go one day with out talking to her sometime 3 and 4 times a day. I can always talk to her and have always been able. She always had good advise even though sometimes i pretend not to agree. I don't think that i could have hand picked a better mom she is truly a wonderful women. She love my dad and is such a good example to me in that aspect. I love her so very much and am thankful for her ever day. LOVE YOU.

Swimming Lessons

Its time again for swimming lessons YEAH!! I am having swimming lesson sign ups on May 9Th from 10am-12pm at my moms house, where swimming lesson is held. Spring break day #3 & #4/Payzlie walking

DAY# 3
I wore myself out this week, so today we decided that we would hang out for a while at home and then spend a couple of hours at jumpin jacks, eat lunch and then back home to rest. That was my first time at jumpin jacks, the kids have been there, but not me. It was fun and not crowded at all, thanks goodness. Payzlie loved it, not the bouncers just the fun colors all over the floor. She was walking all over the place. She started walking this week and it has been a treat she had wanted to push the stroller instead of ride in it. She kept us busy too.

DAY# 4

Since i have spoiled my kids this week, i thought that it was time for them to give me something, so today i decided that we were going to clean! Yeah, well needless to say they were not very happy about that, but i kept telling them that they have had lots of fun this week and now we are going to clean and i don't want to here one complaint. We were done by noon and the kids got to spend the rest of the day outside playing with their friends. I finished cleaning and started to feel sick, i wore my self right out and ended up with the stomach flu, lucky me. That ended our great and fun spring break.>

Spring Break Day #2 Dinosaur Museum/I spy art exhibit

Today we went to the Thanksgiving point dinosaur museum and to the BYU i spy art exhibit. We went through the museum and then to a 3D movie about dinosaurs, the kids played in the sand and dug for dinosaur bones. After we stopped at 5 guys burgers and fries for lunch, i am not a hamburger eater, but that was pretty good food. Then off to the art museum, it was neat and fun to look at all the art, and some of the things that they call art. The I Spy exhibit was really neat how creative this guy is. There are pictures on the wall and posts next to them telling about the picture and what to find. Last but not least a trip to smart cookie, the best cookies ever. We had a fun day and are tired and ready to rest for day 3

Spring Break Day # 1 Lehi Legacy Center/Pool

Well i decided that because it was going to snow we would do something indoors, so today we went to the Lehi Legacy Pool, WAY FUN!! We went at 11 o clock and went home at 4. I didn't get many pictures, because i had as much fun as the kids and swam with them most of the time. They have a small kids area with slides and swings, then a bigger kid area with slides and a big bucket that dumps water on you, a slide that goes out side then back in, a lazy river, and best of all it doesn't get over 5 feet deep. We enjoyed this so much and i think we will go back. I will post pictures later my mom has them on her camera.

EASTER 2009

We had a great Easter lots of egg hunts and plenty of candy its like Halloween all over again.
Saturday we went to the city egg hunt it was perfect short and sweet and all the kids got a prize, then we went to my moms ward hunt and had a picnic. On Sunday we went to church and then to my moms for a hunt and dinner, the kids had fun and that's were they got lots more candy, after we went to Paul's moms for another hunt. It was nice to take time from are busy schedule and have a little reminder of what Easter is all about, are church meeting were an excellent way to relax and take in the true meaning.
