Happy 1st Birthday Payzlie!!!

My baby turned one yesterday, i cant believe how time flies. She had a great birthday thanks to all her family and friends. She had a party with cake and ice cream and the traditional dig into her own cake, she thought that was pretty neat, but ended up having an allergic reaction to something, (thanks to her mom), and also got lot of fun gifts, thank you everyone for making this a special day for her. Thank you Sarah for the cute pictures

Payzlies birth story!!

I had Payzlie at 37 weeks alot better then the first two. I found out i was pregnant and i was so excited, i had begged Paul for one more and i am so glad that i waited i love the space between her and Austin. I decided with this baby that i was going to she a perinatologist and my regular ob Dr. At the beginning they told me that it would be a good idea to start having progesterone shots at 16 weeks to help reduce the risk of pre term delivery, so from 16 weeks until 35 weeks i received a shot in the hip once a week. The whole time i am having the shot they were telling me that whenever you stop the shots you start into labor, well 35 weeks rolled around i had my last shot and had not started into labor, i continued to see the Dr until my 37 weeks appointment and they did an ultrasound and measured her and her growing had slowed down and they decided that it would be a good idea to start me. They gave me pit around three, broke my water, and gave me an epidural and she was born at about 5:30 it was a very easy delivery and the very best. I was a mess, they handed her to me and i just started to cry and cry and cry, i had never been able to hold my babies after they were born and it was the best ever, she was healthy and i was able to take her home with me when i went home. We love you Payzlie, Happy Birthday!!

S-T-I-T-C-H-E-S

Austins first set of stitches. It was Tuesday afternoon and i was on my way to work when i got a call that i should come back home cause Austin needs stitches, so i turned around and headed home. When i got there he was laying on the couch and had a good laceration to his chin, from pillow surfing on the kitchen floor and he missed the pillow or surf board. He was a little nervous but did so good and didn't even cry. He had to get 9 stitches, 4 on the inside and 5 on the outside.

Bow trade!!!

I thought that this would be so much fun to try. The idea is each month lets say there are 10 people that want to do it, so each month everyone makes 10 of the same bows either two small ones or a big one. We will get together each month and exchange them so that you end up with ten different bows. If you are not around for the get together I will just collect yours and bring them to you. Let me know if you would want to start this and let me know if you have a better way to do it!
