Austin's Birthday and birth story!!

Today Austin is 5 years old i can not believe how time fly's so fast, i have learned to enjoy them while they are little cause they grow so fast. Austin had a friend birthday party yesterday and we went sledding and had doughnuts and hot chocolate it was so much fun, and we had a great time, thanks to all his friends for coming and for the fun gifts. Today i asked Austin what he wanted to do and him is was his day, and he just wants to stay home and play, what an easy kid. So here we are he doesn't even want to go get lunch. Austins birth story!!!

Well i feel like i am repeating myself because Austin felt left out and followed his sister by coming in to the world a little to soon. With Austin i made it to 30 weeks with no contraction which was one week longer then Allie i felt like i was doing good, well i was wrong. I started to have contractions and called the Dr and they told me to go to the hospital well there i was put on a monitor and sure enough i was contracting, but not dilating, so i was sent home very mad, i wasn't sure what i wanted them to do, but i guess it wasn't to send me home, cause i new that something was not right. Well at home i continued to have contractions thought the night so about 3 am i called my mom and headed back to the hospital. There again they told me that they were going to give me fluid and send me home still contracting. I was checked at 6 or 6:30 making not progress and delivered Austin at 7:04am. My water ended up breaking about fifteen minutes after i was checked and he came fast. Austin was born weighing 2 lbs 15 oz and was 15.5 in long. He stayed in the NICU for about 5 weeks and did quite well, but came home on oxygen and sleep apnea monitors. Austin was a fighter and still is. We love you lots
